JOHN BESWICK DEGAS BALLET DANCER CERAMIC ART VASE PARASTONE

John Beswick (now owned by Dartington Crystal) ceramic
art vases ~ Ballet Dancer

A Degas developed an interest in ballet at an early age and in 1872
he made his first studies of ballet dances.
He avoided the true drama, the performance itself.
Similar to the way he pictured the world of the horse racer before and
after the race, he showed what happened behind the scenes in
the ballet world of L’Opera.
He chose subtle, apparently random composition and painted
them with an unexpected approach.
Height = 23.5 Diameter = 10.5 cms
This vase is part of an art vase collection called 'Silhouette d'art'
It is crafted from fine ceramic and decorated with a famous
masterpiece painting.
Vases are a co-operative effort between two European fine
art manufacturers ~ 'Parastone', a Dutch Art Company, and
'John Beswick' a British ceramic company.
The famous art masterpieces are selected for their visual beauty and then applied to a special shaped vase design with a cut edge to enhance a design element from the painting.
Your art vase will arrive carefully packed and will arrive
in its original packaging.
